Acceptable Use Policy - Internet Connection
Internet Use Policy:
NDNU prohibits inappropriate use of its’ computing technology. For additional information

Furthermore;
Any illegal downloading of copyrighted materials, without any written consent of the
company and/or owner is prohibited by law by which NDNU abides by. NDNU has the right
to report any illegal activities to the authorities when requested.
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has blocked known illegal download programs
and/or ports on its firewall. Any legal pay-for-download program(s) and/or port(s)
can be opened if it is proven that such program(s) and/or port(s) is/are legally
acceptable by law and does not conflict with any illegal downloading.
Gaming and Other Port(s):
Online gaming ports are only open between the hours of 12:00 midnight through 8:00am,
seven (7) days a week. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) can open additional
online gaming ports, requested by the student, so as long as it does not conflict with
any illegal activity, such as; illegal downloading of copyrighted materials.
It is the sole responsibility of the student to troubleshoot their online gaming problems.
Student must work with the gaming manufacturer to resolve any problems that they are experiencing.
Other personal Equipment(s):
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) prohibits the use of personal wireless routers.
Residents are encourage to use the official NDNU wireless system for wireless connection
to the internet. Violation of this policy may result to termination of service until further
notice.
