Leadership Academy Scholarships

The Center for Student Leadership administers the Scholars program that NDNU selects upon their admission to the university. Students must have significant leadership experience in a minimum of three projects/events as well as demonstrated commitment to community service above and beyond that required for high school graduation. Leadership Scholars are required to fulfill a four-year commitment that develops and enhances the student’s leadership skills.

Application Criteria

To be considered, students must complete their applications no later than February 1st. Freshmen should have a minimum earned 3.2 academic grade point average and scored at least 1000 on the composite SAT. Transfers should have earned at least a 3.10 GPA in a minimum of 30 transferable units.

In addition, all candidates must have a record of demonstrated leadership and community service. This record should include significant leadership in at least three projects/events as well as a commitment to community service above and beyond hours/activities required for school graduation.

Maintaining the Leadership Academy Scholarship

To renew the scholarships, Leadership Academic Scholars will be required to:
