Women Take Sixth in Lady Otter Invitational

October 18 - The Notre Dame de Namur women's golf team used a top 10 finish from Brittany Carrera to place sixth in The Golf Mart/Lady Otter Invitational.  CSU Chico took home first place in the 54 hole, 16 team tournament.

The Argos shot a combine 1037, finishing 51 strokes behind the tournament winner.  NDNU's 333 in the third round was the second best score of the day.  Carrera finished with a 249 on the tournament, good enough for ninth place.  Kelly Owen placed 25th for the Argos, followed by a 31st place finish for Angie Manzitto.  The NDNU women finish up their fall schedule October 29-31 in Hawaii for the Mauna Lani Invitational. Women's Golf Place Sixth in First Tourney

September 26 - The Notre Dame de Namur women's golf team got their season started with a sixth place finish at the Grand Canyon Women's Fall Invitational.  The Argos finished 29 strokes behind tournament winner CSU San Marcos in the 12-team field.

Brittany Carrera was the top finisher for the Argos, shooting a 156 and placing 12th.  Kelly Owens tied for 16th with a 157 and Angie Manzitto's 158 was good enough for 23rd.  The individual medal was won by CSU San Marcos's Jennell French who shot a two-over-par 146 for the tournament.  The Argos are off until October 16-18 when they travel to Seaside, CA for the 5th Annual Golf Mart/Lady Otter Invitational.  RESULTS
