The Menlo Oaks were not much competition for NDNU on Sunday afternoon. The Argos made short work of the Oaks as they downed Menlo 11-0 and 8-0, both in five innings.
In the 11-0 game one win, Nicole Giuliani and Amy Paulson combined for 7 hits and 6 runs. Paulson added 2 RBI's in the win. Argo pitcher, Jen Zev gave up only 3 hits in the victory. The Argos combined for 17 hits and 11 runs in the win. NDNU used a five run third inning enroute to the blowout. In the 8-0 game 2 victory, Danielle Holt led NDNU with 2 hits, 2 runs, on just 2 at bats. NDNU combined for 10 hits and pitcher Cierra Keeney held Menlo to just 1 hit. NDNU used a five run second inning to put away the Oaks. The Argos improved to 17-22 on the season with just two games remaining. NDNU travels to CSU East Bay on Saturday, April 29 for a doubleheader. The first pitch is at 12pm.
