Human Resources Management Certificate Program
The Certificate Program will be held on five consecutive Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the Notre Dame de Namur University campus. By attending all five modules - you will receive all course materials and a Certificate for 3.75 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Each module earns 0.75 CEUs. Priority will be given to those signing up for all modules in one session.
Register now via email to Peter Young at pyoung@ndnu.edu. Provide the following information: name, title, company, primary e-mail, alternate e-mail [if possible], and phone number. Once you register, you will be contacted with specific payment information to process your registration. Enrollment in the program does not require formal admission to Notre Dame de Namur University.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are a nationally recognized means of recording non-credit study. CEU courses are graded on a Pass/Fail basis; one CEU is awarded for each 10 hours of instruction. CEUs earned may neither be applied to, nor substituted for, degree requirements. An official transcript is available from the Registrar's Office upon request.
Add/Drop Policy: You can officially drop enrollment one week prior to class with a written notice submitted to the University Registrar. This will facilitate a 100% refund. Students who enroll in the certificate program are responsible for attending all of the sessions. You can add the course on the first day of class when you complete the registration form and pay in full.
Policy For Make-Ups: In order to be granted a Human Resources Certificate from Notre Dame de Namur University, a student is required to successfully complete all sessions.
If a student is unable to attend one of the five course sessions, there will be the opportunity to register, pay and attend the single missed session if the course is offered again during the following two semesters. After all five certificate sessions have been completed, the Registrar will award the Human Resources Certificate.
The fee for the 'makeup' session will be one-fifth of the total tuition for the entire certificate. This policy does not mean that any of the tuition for the original certificate registration will be reimbursed. This policy does not apply to missing more than one session. If two sessions are missed, the Human Resources Certificate will not be awarded. To earn the certificate, the student would need to register for the entire certificate program again, pay the full certificate tuition, and complete all five sessions as required.
