Applying for Aid
Going to college is a step toward adulthood and an important investment in your future. Merit and need-based programs can help pay for your education; the goal of our Office of Student Financing is to help make college affordable.
At NDNU we expect students and their families to bear primary responsibility for meeting educational costs. Help is available, however. Our traditional undergraduates received over $7.4 million in financial aid in fall 2004.
For fall 2004 , the average aid package included $9,300 in NDNU funds. In addition, students received over $2.2 million in Federal Pell Grants, Cal Grants, and Federal Work Study Funds.
Many students also qualified for subsidized and unsubsidized loans. Our Office of Student Financing helps applicants and their families understand the financial aid process, as well as the full spectrum of resources available. Students are responsible for researching the range of possible funding sources, filling in scholarship and loan applications, and, of course, meeting the March 2nd deadline.
