Study Groups
Study Groups at theTutorial Center

Study group discussion will:
- Augment classroom learning.
- Integrate how-to-learn with what-to-learn.
- Bring students together for a common purpose – for example, preparing for course, MCAT, CSET, GRE, etc.
- Provide an opportunity for students and tutors to share their ideas and study skills — note taking, graphic organization, questioning techniques, vocabulary acquisition, and test preparation.
Depending on students' requests and availability of tutors, we will facilitate as many study groups as possible. Each group will be assigned with one tutor and will meet once a week in the Tutorial Center or some other place that the group agrees upon.
In this semester, the following study groups are offered or will be organized if we get requests from students:
