Public Relations
The Public Relations Office acts as a filter for all out-going University materials. All newsletters, flyers, brochures, invitations, banners, web pages, or other visual information produced for an external audience (i.e., alumni, parents, donors, the media, the general public, etc.) must be reviewed by the Public Relations office before printing. This is to ensure correct spelling, proper grammar, adherence to NDNU graphical standards, and messaging consistency. Most materials can be reviewed within 48 hours.
The University's Editorial Style Guide, compiled by Public Relations, establishes a clear and consistent communication style crucial to establishing Notre Dame de Namur’s identity as a sophisticated university with high standards. The University’s design guidelines, including logo download center, are available online.
Public Relations also produces NDNU Magazine. The Public Relations Office is responsible for writing much of the information on our website including Arts, Lectures & Happenings and NDNU News. In addition, all press releases as well as media inquiries are handled by the office.
The Public Relations Office is located in Room 319, Ralston Hall Mansion.
