Fall 2006 NDNU Faculty-Staff Workshops

This fall OIT will offer workshops on MS Office 2003 applications Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word. There will also be new workshops on Photoshop Elements image correction and slide shows, Podcasting, Blogs and RSS feeds, and orientations to NDNU's new Nomad presentation cart with Mediasite recorder.

Individualized WebCT training is available on an on-going basis. If you're interested in adding an online component to your courses, contact Merle Mason to set-up an orientation.

Introduction to the Nomad Mobile Presentation Cart with Mediasite recorder

The Nomad Mobile Presentation Cart is a unit that brings together an assortment of gear from different manufacturers to produce what can be termed a “lecture in a box” solution. It features audio and video capture capabilities via Mediasite presentation recording software.

Microsoft Excel: HLookup, VLookup and Pivot Tables

"Lookup" values in columns and rows of different worksheets. Use pivot tables to create a 3-D view of data.

Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 Introduction

Photoshop Elements: Image Correction
