NDNU Computer Lab Policies
NDNU Computer Labs Policies
Users may be asked to present their valid student ID to the Lab Monitor.
In the PC Lab, log-in with your username and password. When you do that, you'll be able to save files to your personal directory on the H: drive. All PCs have both a floppy disc drive, and a 100MB Zip drive, so bring a floppy or Zip disc if you wish to save to either of those drives. Always log-off when you're finished in the PC Lab.
In the Mac Lab, you don't need to log-in with a username and password, and there is no personal directory on the server to which you can save your files. All of the Macs have Zip drives; six also have floppy drives. Bring your own disc(s).

- Please print one copy only of your document. When you edit your work, print changed pages only.
- When finished, close all applications that you are using.
- Collect your belongings when you leave. (backpacks, books, clothes) Items left behind will be taken to the switchboard.
- No food or beverages are allowed in the labs.
- No Meetings should be held in the labs.
- Do not download and install software on Lab computers, even freeware.
- No external audio is allowed in the labs (use headphones).
- No talking on cell phones.
- No pets allowed.
